The Jigsaw Youth Theatre Company (JYTC) is a natural extension of our weekend programme. It is ideal for 16- to 20-year-olds with a keen interest in the performing arts or those preparing for drama school.
The company takes part in a variety of workshops, leading to a performance in a professional theatre. Young people gain valuable experience of working with everything from text, script and improvisation to full-length showcases, complete with lighting, sound, costume, props and scenery. The company meets one evening a week to rehearse, with additional rehearsals scheduled in the run up to productions.
