Why not try a Jigsaw holiday workshop as an affordable solution to keeping your children busy? Jigsaw provide fun, exciting and educational performing arts workshops in the school holidays.
Holiday workshops for children
Jigsaw holiday workshops are an affordable way to keep your children occupied outside of term time. They are designed to provide enjoyable and stimulating performing arts activities for children during the school holidays.
Students are divided into appropriate age groups and take part in drama, dance and singing classes. Each week has a theme which will form the basis for the show at the end of the week. Family and friends will be invited to watch.
Escape the rain with an Easter or half term workshop or take to the stage in a fun-filled summer school. Our holiday workshops are hugely popular amongst children who attend our weekend schools as well as among children who are joining Jigsaw for the very first time.

Holiday workshops for 3 - 5 years
The two hour sessions are full of fun packed, exciting performing arts activities based around the theme for the week. They offer a taster of the full day programme and the week leads to a mini performance. Perfect for building confidence, making new friends and keeping your child busy during the school holidays.
Holiday workshops for 6 - 16 years
Each day will begin with a physical and vocal warm up with the choreographer and musical director. Students will then work in smaller groups taking classes in script, improvisation and vocal work as well as jazz dance and singing technique. Later in the week the show is pieced together and students will be given a rehearsal schedule. On Friday we will add sound and lighting to the production for a technical and dress rehearsal in preparation for the performance that afternoon.
Shows take place at the end of the week and all friends and family are invited. Jigsaw devises shows around the theme to ensure that all children are included. It is important to us that all children feel they have contributed to the final performance.
