Beating the Heat at the Virgin Sport British 10K

Congratulations to Jigsaw Company Director, Nicola Lander and Business Development Manager, Andy Hutchings who completed the Virgin Sport British 10k in Westminster on Sunday, 15th July.
After months of training and fundraising both runners laced up their trainers on that sweltering Sunday morning to complete the race in 1 hour 12 minutes!
“It was an incredible hot day!” says Jigsaw Company Director Nicola, “but we battled the heat and managed to run all the way. We’ve raised just shy of £1000 for Cancer Research UK, which I’m really proud of. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely consider doing it again.”
To date, through the generous donations of many individuals, including friends and family, both Nicola and Andy have collectively raised £965 in total for Cancer Research UK, a cancer research and awareness charity.
Cancer Research UK provides cancer information to the public, develops evidence-based policy to inform Government decisions related to cancer and research, and funds scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner.
