A new performing arts school for children in Walthamstow

Jigsaw Performing Arts has been helping children build confidence through performing arts for over 30 years.

Children’s performing arts classes for ages 3-18

Our classes are carefully tailored to different age groups, ensuring every child receives the right level of support, challenge and encouragement.

Little Ones (Ages 3-6)

Our youngest students enjoy 90-minute sessions that introduce them to the world of drama, dance and singing through imaginative, age-appropriate activities.

Classes are divided into:

Ages 3-4
Ages 5-6

Each session includes:

Drama activities and storytelling
Singing and vocal games
Dance and movement exercises
A short snack break
Opportunities to build confidence and friendships

All classes are drop-off sessions, helping children develop independence while parents enjoy some time to themselves.

To ensure every child receives individual attention, classes are limited to a maximum of 16 students, supported by both a lead teacher and assistant teacher.

Our nurturing teaching team understands that every child is different. Some arrive bursting with confidence, while others take a little longer to settle. Both journeys are equally valued at Jigsaw.

Main School (Ages 7+)

Students aged 7 and above attend a three-hour performing arts session each week.

Children rotate through specialist classes in:

Drama
Dance
Singing

Each discipline is taught by an experienced teacher who either works or studies professionally within the performing arts industry.

Students are grouped by age and ability, with class sizes capped at 20 children.

Alongside developing performing arts skills, children learn valuable life skills including:
