With the six-week summer holiday stretching before us, there’s no doubt that many families are looking forward to some sun, sea, sand and sunscreen. If, however, lounging on the sun lounger isn’t your child idea of entertainment this summer then we’ve got just the thing for you! Yes, that’s right, our five-day Jigsaw Summer Holiday workshops for children aged 3-16 have returned! With two exciting themes; Jigsaw at the Movies and Jigsaw at the Musicals to choose from there is something for everyone for new first-time students and cool cats alike.

Do you know your western from your fantasy? Ready for a dance challenge? Could you prove yourself to be a showman above no other?  Then Jigsaw at the Movies is for you! From silent movie classics to the latest block buster feature we will be exploring the world of the silver screen through dance, singing and drama.

Jigsaw at the Musicals

If toe tapping musical numbers are your things, or maybe you can’t wait to sing a Broadway Ballard…? Then Jigsaw at the musicals is what you’re looking for! Join us for the chance to dance, sing and perform some of your most favourite musical and even learn a few new ones along the way! 

The age groups…

Now that you know our themes, lets talk about the class structure. At Jigsaw we realise that all our sessions must be tailored to our students needs, that’s why they are divided into age appropriate groups. 

3-5 year olds

This is a perfect introduction to the performing arts. Students will enjoy a fun packed two-hour session with one of our performing arts teachers based on one of our Holiday Workshop themes. Through dance, singing and drama student will develop their performance skills, play interactive games, build confidence and make new friends. Parents will be invited to attend a show at the end of the week where you get to see all that they have been working on!

6-16 year olds

For older students our holiday workshops are a whole day event! For five days students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the performing arts, advance their performance skills, learn new techniques, work in age appropriate groups, make new friends and build their confidence through dance, singing and drama. They have the chance to put together a live performance for their parents at the end of the week that will include costume, lighting and music!
