Jigsaw Students Take Part in Playmakers at the National Theatre

Playmakers
Last week, children from Jigsaw had the incredible opportunity to take part in the National Theatre’s Playmakers scheme.
Jigsaw has been lucky enough to be involved with the National Theatre in the past, with our Youth Theatre having taken part in NT Connections. During Playmakers, younger Jigsaw children were able to get to grips with how to develop performance technique over two days at the National Theatre Studio, with support from members of staff at the National Theatre.
A hugely exciting two days
In a packed two days, children found Playmakers to be hugely exciting experience. With sessions taking place throughout Friday and Sunday, it was a chance for students to delve even deeper into performance technique, utilising the skills that they have developed in their performing arts classes at Jigsaw.
We were proud of our students’ hard work, and with so many opportunities for students which run alongside our weekend performing arts schools, we now look forward to our theatre trip to Aladdin in April.
