Mrs Doubtfire was a hit!

The students at Jigsaw Barnet were given the wonderful opportunity to visit the West End and watch Mrs Doubtfire in theatre!

Jigsaw Barnet had not been to the theatre since before 2020, so Manager Megan thought it was about time to take a trip! Jigsaw Barnet also invited the eldest students at Jigsaw Potters Bar to come along too.

The eldest students from Jigsaw Barnet (12–18-year-olds) were so excited to return to the theatre, that everybody attended! On the journey there, the students were involved in making a Reel, which follows them to the Theatre capturing the bright lights of London at night. It was so lovely to see the students outside of the Jigsaw classroom be so enthusiastic while enjoying and appreciating the Arts. The students have already sent Megan suggestions for the next group theatre trip… this will be an annual occurrence to look forward to now!

Mrs Doubtfire the musical is a must see! Manager Megan was slightly sceptical about seeing the show, as it is an adaptation of one of her favourite childhood films but she was pleasantly surprised! It has comedic themes running throughout and the actors were brilliant! Real talent was performed on the stage, I would definitely recommend.
