Boy at the Almeida Theatre starring current Jigsaw students and past alumni enjoyed great success last month.

Leo Butler’s new play tells the story of a boy in modern-day London, someone ‘easily missed amongst the crowd’. Performed on a moving platform, the groundbreaking set brought the play to life and transformed the Almeida into a living, breathing city.

Amongst the cast, Angel Loren (who is a current student at Jigsaw Winchmore Hill) enjoyed her debut at the Almeida, and past student Duramaney Kamara (Jigsaw Hendon) excelled in a wide variety of differing roles. On the technical team, Jigsaw Almunus Caitriona Shoobridge was Assistant Director for what really was a thrilling piece of theatre.

For a full schedule of upcoming shows, visit the Almeida Theatre website, and with Ralph Fiennes as Richard III this summer it looks to be an exciting few months at the Almeida.
