Review: Pinocchio, Sadler’s Wells
- Published Date: October 26, 2016
This half term, we teamed up with Sadler’s Wells (find out more about them here) and offered one lucky Jigsaw student the opportunity to review Jasmin Vardimon Company’s production of Pinocchio.
Jigsaw Finchley student, Ben Davis, attended the performance, and here’s what he thought of the show:
“I thought the show was absolutely brilliant; and their dancing!
My favourite characters were the ones who pretended to be toys. My favourite scenes were the ones with the narrator because of the fantastic hand movement that created the flying face. And the beginning scene!
The costumes could have been better to identify the different characters because I don’t know the story that well, but I would recommend it to anyone who loves dance and understands that it’s not just a show… it’s an amazing dance performance!”
Needless to say, Ben absolutely loved the show and hopes to review for Jigsaw again in the future.
