Jigsaw shows give children the opportunity to perform with costume, sound and lighting to an invited audience of friends and family. Incorporating drama, singing and dance, we create our own end of term shows ensuring that every child has the opportunity to take part. Shows are an exciting and unforgettable event at Jigsaw. Jigsaw Youth Theatre
The Jigsaw Youth Theatre Company (JYTC) was an extension of our weekend Performing Arts Schools’ programme for 16 to 20-year-olds with a keen interest in the performing arts or those preparing for drama school. Alongside self-produced productions, Jigsaw Youth Theatre was heavily involved in the National Theatre’s Connections scheme. In 2013, Jigsaw Youth Theatre students had the incredible opportunity to perform in the world-famous Olivier Theatre on the South Bank in Jim Cartwright’s ‘Mobile Phone Show’. This was a wonderful achievement and one which we are to this day extremely proud of. We closed the festival on the last night in what was a tremendous play and a fantastic production.
