WOW! Jigsaw students take on the WMC, performing centre stage to a packed audience.
Franchisee and Jigsaw Cardiff school owner Philippa shares the experience:
When we started Jigsaw in Cardiff, back in 2019, I never dreamed that I would get to see my students singing on the world class Wales Millenium Centre stage! Thanks to the wonderful ‘Stars of Tomorrow’ gang, this became a reality on the 5th August 2024.
50 of our Jigsaw students from across our 3 welsh schools, (Jigsaw Cardiff East, Jigsaw Cardiff West and Jigsaw Penarth) performed to a packed audience on one of the worlds most amazing stages!
As a child who loved performing arts, I know that the children who took part, will likely remember that day for the rest of their lives. It’s certainly something I will never forget and it was overwhelmingly emotional to watch from the wings!
We are now excited to announce that we have been asked back to do it all again! Jigsaw students – watch this space for more amazing opportunities to ‘treading the boards’ in this iconic theatre yet again!
