Jigsaw Franchisee Friendships: Finding A Place To Belong

Finding A Place To Belong At Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools

The Jigsaw ethos ‘A Place To Belong’ extends to all at Jigsaw Arts, and friendships are endlessly being created across the entire Jigsaw network. Whether that be between parents, students, our staff, or Jigsaw franchisee friendships, we have been connecting like-minded people for over 27 years!

We caught up with Franchisee Abbie from Jigsaw Chelmsford and Megan from Potters Bar and Barnet, who became friends through Jigsaw, to hear about their recent trip to the theatre together. Abbie and Megan met at the Jigsaw AGM last year. Every September, we hold a Jigsaw Arts annual general meeting and it is a chance for the Jigsaw Arts Head Office team and all Jigsaw franchisees to get together for a whole day of sharing ideas, stories, experiences, and connecting with one another over dinner.

At the AGM, Abbie and Megan’s friendship blossomed as they exchanged ideas on how to best grow and build their Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools. So, a trip to the theatre and a wander around London town was in order as an end of term treat for our two franchisees!

They watched ‘Back to the future,’ the classic 80s movie turned into a fabulous musical, which is currently showing at the Adelphi Theatre in London. Abbie wrote “It was so lovely to meet up with Megan and enjoy a brand new musical that neither of us had seen yet. We both try to go to the theatre as much as we can so it was lovely to have a new friend to do that with. Megan and I can understand each other’s passion for running our Jigsaw schools and the importance of being a sounding board for each other. That’s the beautiful thing about being part of the Jigsaw family as a franchisee. You meet like-minded people who motivate you to develop your business. We will definitely be booking in some more visits to the theatre this year!”

Creating ‘A Place To Belong’ for all is extremely important to us at Jigsaw Arts and Jigsaw franchisee friendships form in many ways. However, the mutual connection we all hold towards promoting our ethos and the strong belief in the benefits of the performing arts have been the driving point behind the extension of Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools over the years, and why we have continued to open schools in new areas and spread the Jigsaw Joy to more families across the UK.

If running a part-time rewarding business with a friendly family-like team to support sounds like something you would be interested in, get in touch to find out more about becoming a Jigsaw Arts franchisee. franchise@jigsaw-arts.co.uk
