JIGSAW YOUTH THEATRE

Jigsaw Youth Theatre (JYT) is specially designed for 15–18 year olds who are ready to take their performing arts training to the next level in a fun, dynamic, and challenging environment.

Still very much part of our Jigsaw weekend schools, JYT offers older students a space to build on the skills they’ve developed through the years, while exploring deeper, more nuanced approaches to performance. The year is divided into three terms, Technique, Show, and Presentation, mirroring the core Jigsaw structure, while tailoring content to meet the needs and ambitions of young adult performers.

JYT students engage with thought-provoking texts that resonate with today’s world and are encouraged to contribute creatively to the rehearsal and production process. With regular performance opportunities to an invited audience, they gain meaningful stage experience and take ownership of their artistic development.

Whether they’re refining their technique, performing in ensemble pieces, or devising original work, Jigsaw Youth Theatre students are constantly evolving. They grow in confidence all within the familiar and supportive Jigsaw community.
