A review of MJ: The Musical and the Magic of Performing Arts from Jigsaw Sevenoaks and Jigsaw Hitchin Owner and Manager Shaun!
Last night, I found myself at the Prince Edward Theatre, eagerly awaiting the opening night preview of ‘MJ: The Musical’.
Let me tell you, the show delivered a performance that was nothing short of sensational. As the lights dimmed and the music started, the energy in the room was electrifying. I may be biased as I am a huge Michael Jackson fan!
One of the standout aspects of the evening was Myles Frost’s portrayal of Michael Jackson. His talent and dedication to embodying the King of Pop were truly phenomenal. With each move and each note, he brought the essence of Michael Jackson to life on that stage, leaving the audience in awe. Reading about the show when I got home, I found out that he became the youngest individual actor to win a Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical!
As I watched the performers dance, sing, and act their hearts out, I couldn’t help but be reminded of the power of performing arts. As manager of two Jigsaw performing arts schools, Jigsaw Sevenoaks and Jigsaw Hitchin, I believe in nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the stage in children aged 3-18. Seeing the magic unfold on stage at ‘MJ The Musical’ reinforced in me the importance of what we do at Jigsaw.
The show was a full of music, dance, and storytelling that left a lasting impression on everyone in the audience. It’s moments like these that remind us why we love what we do – helping young individuals discover their passion for the performing arts and watching them shine.
