Over the Christmas holiday period, Bella was performing as the Princess/Fairy in Jack and the Beanstalk onboard P&O cruises!

We caught up with Bella to find out more…

“I performed as the Princess/ Fairy in the Pantomime Jack & the Beanstalk onboard P&O Cruises this Christmas Season. The show is full of family fun, with lots of singing, silly jokes and audience participation.

Living on the ship was a lot of fun, but it was a big adjustment to living at home. I really loved waking up in lots of different ports, and got to see some of the most beautiful places in the world along the way. Doing what I love whilst travelling the world is an amazing experience and I am so grateful to have had this fantastic opportunity.” – Bella

What inspired you to become an actor?

“I have always loved performing, ever since I first stepped foot on stage at the age of three! Performing on stage has always been an escape for me, where I can fully immerse myself within another world. I also really love the challenge of stepping into another person’s shoes and becoming that character. Having that opportunity from such a young age, I remember I knew straight away that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life!” – Bella

What was it that drew you to teach Drama at Jigsaw Enfield?

“I’d always wanted to get into teaching and when I found out about Jigsaw and the opportunities they provide for children, I wanted to become a part of the family! I particularly enjoy that Jigsaw offers classes in all three disciplines of drama, singing, and dance, so that the students can experience all the different aspects of performing arts.” – Bella

As a Drama teacher, what do you hope to inspire in your young students?

“I hope to spark creativity in all my students, and for them to feel free to express themselves and see where their imagination takes them! I would like for them to find their own voice with their work, and to be confident in their own unique performance.” – Bella
