How did Jigsaw help you?

Jigsaw Youth Theatre helped me to enhance my theatre experiences by being involved in NT Connections year on year. By having the opportunity to rehearse for performances and perform in professional spaces really gave me a huge insight into the theatre industry. However, it was the impact of being involved in this - the skills I built in team work, confidence, communication and the friendships that I made - that made me realise the benefits of programmes like Jigsaw and is why I have now chosen to use the arts to enrich and benefit other people's lives (as it did my own).

Jigsaw helped me by giving me the opportunity to explore my talents and skills in acting, singing and dance. Also it helped me as a child to be open to making new friends and confident enough to communicate well with others. Jigsaw also gave me a good discipline, work ethic and time keeping. I struggled with being on time a lot for a good while and thanks to Nikki (Mummy Jigsaw) i now have good time keeping skills. Also Nikki and Andy taught me a great work ethic, making me understand that nothing comes easy and I'm going to have to work to the best of my ability to get what i want in life. (Thank you Jigsaw!).
