Jigsaw Performing Arts Bromley & Beckenham is opening this September, led by School Manager Yas, a much-loved former Jigsaw teacher who has worked across multiple Jigsaw schools, helping children discover their confidence through performing arts.

Having spent years teaching within the Jigsaw family, Yas has seen first-hand the positive impact that drama, dance and singing can have on children’s confidence, communication skills and wellbeing.

Now she is bringing that experience, passion and enthusiasm to Bromley and Beckenham, creating a brand new Jigsaw school where local children can feel supported, encouraged and celebrated.

More than just dance, drama and singing classes

At Jigsaw, we believe every child deserves a place to belong.

Our weekly performing arts classes combine drama, dance and singing in a safe, structured and welcoming environment where children can develop confidence, creativity and communication skills while having lots of fun.

Some children arrive bursting with confidence. Others take a little longer to settle into a new environment. Some join because they love performing. Others simply want to make new friends or try something different.

Whatever brings them through our doors, our goal remains the same: helping every child feel valued, supported and comfortable being themselves.

Children’s performing arts classes for ages 3-18

Jigsaw Bromley & Beckenham offers age-appropriate performing arts classes for children and young people aged 3-18 years.

Little Ones (Ages 3-6)

Our youngest students enjoy 90-minute sessions filled with creativity, imagination and fun.

Classes are divided into:

Ages 3-4
Ages 5-6

Each session includes:

Drama and storytelling activities
Singing and vocal games
Dance and movement exercises
A short snack break
Opportunities to build confidence and social skills

All classes are drop-off sessions and are led by nurturing teachers who either work or study within the performing arts industry.

To ensure every child receives the support they need, class sizes are limited to a maximum of 16 students, with an assistant teacher supporting each group.

Main School (Ages 7-18)

Students aged 7 and above attend a three-hour session each week, rotating through specialist classes in:

Drama
Dance
Singing

Each discipline is taught by a dedicated specialist teacher, helping students develop skills while building confidence, teamwork and self-expression.

Children are grouped by age and work in classes of no more than 20 students, ensuring every individual is seen, supported and encouraged throughout their journey.
